The SHow DAte command
displays the current date and time.
Examples:
show/date
The SHow
HAm command is used for callsign
database lookups. Both the US and VE callbooks are supported.
AR-Cluster builds its own callsign
database from the FCC and Canadian published data. If your callbook
information is wrong, contact your sysop and he can run a new callbook for the cluster in about 7 minuutes.
Examples:
show/ham n1mm
The SHow HEading displays
the heading and distance to a position. The heading calculations use the
latitude/longitude information that you have set with the Set/Station/LatLon command. A Show/Heading followed by a callsign will use the position of
the callsign if one is found on the network;
otherwise, the position will be used based on the country of the callsign. The
position data used in performing the
Show/Heading calculations is
also displayed. Long path, LP, headings are also shown.
Example:
show/heading W9BF
show/heading v73c
The SHow
SUn command
displays the sunrise and sunset. The following sun calculations are
displayed: sunrise/sunset, civil
twilight, nautical twilight and astronomical twilight. Sunrise/set is considered to occur when the
sun’s upper limb is 35 arc minutes below the horizon (this accounts for the
refraction of the earth’s atmosphere).
Civil twilight starts/ends when the sun’s center is 6 degrees below the
horizon. Nautical twilight starts/ends
when the sun’s center is 12 degrees below the horizon. Astronomical twilight starts/ends when the
sun’s center is 18 degrees below the horizon.
A Show/Sun without
any callsign defaults to sun data for your location if you have valid position
information for your station. A
Show/Sun
followed by a callsign will use the
position of the callsign if one is found on the network; otherwise, the
position will be used based on the country of the callsign (CTY lookup). The position data used in performing the sun
calculations is also displayed.
Examples:
show/sun
show/sun k5ab
The Show/Sun command can also be used with an optional date parameter formatted as mm-dd-yyyy.
Examples:
show/sun 2-22-2012
show/sun v73aq, 1-15-2012
Sample Output:
Sunrise/Sunset calculations: Rise Set
Sunrise/Sunset 13:12Z 22:41Z
Civil twilight 12:43Z 23:11Z
Nautical twilight 12:09Z 23:44Z
Astronomical twilight 11:37Z 24:16Z
Calculation based on position of K5AB at lat:38.583 lon:-90.267
The SHow TIme command
displays the current date and time.

The SHow UPtime command
displays the uptime for the node.
